Hurricane Helene in Western, North Carolina

Hurricane Helene in Western, North CarolinaPlease pass this information along to anybody you know in the greater eastern mountain range. A lot of people are stuck with no power, food, water and no way to escape. It appears a fair amount of water has gone down, but this disaster blew out so many roadways and small towns and the only way in or out is by foot, horse and choppers. Please share this information with everyone you know, because chances are there are some connections to this area. Give what you can – anything helps. If you know of anybody who might be in danger, please call 911.

MoosePacks was founded in the heart of the blue ridge mountains – this hit home for us. From now through the end of the month we are donating 50% of all proceeds made through our website www.moosepacks.com. The funds will go directly to the disaster relief of the Boone Chamber of Commerce. So many areas have been affected. We have provided some Insite on who is giving and how to help. Again, please share this information. We are sending donations as we speak and if you do not know who to send donations to, we can help you guide you.
